We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Ophthalmic Technician and/or Scribe. Hours vary from 8am to 5:30 pm, with later hours on Weds until 7:00pm. No Saturdays. Duties include assisting with patient flow by preparing patients for exams/procedures, performing routine testing such as visual acuity, lensometry, keratometry, tonometry and other diagnostic / technical testing. Documents eye exam findings under the direction of our physicians accurately into the electronic medical record. We are a busy practice that has served the community for over 25 years. Must be adaptable, detail oriented with good communication, spelling and strong computer skills. Previous medical office experience required. COA/COT desired.
